North vs South Paintball Festival

In its final climactic battle, the North vs South Paintball Festival will deliver exactly what the name promises; an epic battle between North and South. But this annual event has grown a lot bigger than that simple concept. It has an awful lot to offer paintball enthusiasts of all kind. This year's event is due to take place from 1st to 3rd of May, and the attractions on offer this time around will include: A great venue The event takes place at the Defence Training Estate (DTE) in Swynnerton, Staffordshire. This is a training ground that is more regularly used by the Ministry of Defence. As such, it offers truly fantastic facilities and a range of terrain types and battle settings both natural and manmade, chosen for realistic, varied and intense combat scenarios. Three intense scenarios As well as the title event, due to take place on the final day of the three-day event, there will be two other amazing scenario games to play out. All-in-all, the three scenarios of the event are: Evasion Night Challenge: This will take place in the evening after arrival on the first day. Combatants will be given the simple task of checking in at three waypoints. But they will have limited ammo and resources, and will have to contend with a challenging landscape in pitch darkness to do so. Worse, the landscape has been peppered with ambushes and stack the odds against the player even higher! UK Versus: This scenario will bring together all foreign attendees at the event. Non-UK nationals will unite to form the JNTFor (Joint Nations Task Force), while the UK players will assemble as the UKCF (United Kingdom Combined Forces). These two teams will go up against each other for an intense and international scenario battle. Virus North v South Big Game: This is the title event, and is set to be the UK's biggest game ever! The Northern and Southern teams will go head to head in a race for victory. However, this isn't just a straightforward rivalry but another scenario match. Following last year's Southern victory over the North in the latter's Campaign for Freedom, a deadly disease has struck. Teams will meet each other in intense battle over the chance to find a cure. An Amazing Trade Expo This event is not just about paintball play. It will also play host to the country's biggest paintball trade expo. Retailers, manufacturers and other giants of the paintball industry will be in attendance. This elite collective will be offering equipment for sale for players of every level, including clearance sales and the chance to obtain volume discounts, along with courses and demonstrations. Fun! All of the above helps to bring the fun, but that's not the extent of North vs South's efforts to ensure that all attendees have a good time. There will be a choice of accommodation options to simplify the otherwise frustrating matter of working out where to stay, including free camping space, affordable rooms, and on-site military dorm rooms. More to the point, there will be weekend-long entertainment including live music and DJs.
